Keep in touch
An international mixed media postcard exhibition

To the participant artists:
The Keep in Touch exhibition is the result of two years of work, it shows that dreams can become true when one really wish to achieve them, but most important, this exhibition would not have been possible without the friendly presence of each one of you. Keep in Touch celebrates friendship and one world without frontiers.

Thanks for being here!

Concept of the project
One of the pleasures of life comes from the discovery of subtle connections between people and places. At first glance a „postcard' often seems to be unrelated to the person it is send to, but nowadays in time of the electronic communication a post card can be a very interesting sign...
This exhibition proposes to guide us through an underground of abstract and often beautiful connections and meanings.
Keep in touch is the conclusion of a project between more than 30 artists from different national backgrounds. It is an exhibition that has developed proceeding from a thematic premise: the relationships between an artists&Mac226; network keeping in touch though material "postcards".
The works have been revealed through sustained dialogue over a period of almost two years. Each artist gave allusions and hints to what the sentence means to them. Each piece of art makes its point directly or indirectly, by implication.
Much of the pleasure of art comes from our ability to see beneath the surface and discover these connections.

The works are seen and contextualised within their physical nature. Each piece finds its life, an articulation, in relation to the idea of the way of maintaining a presence beyond the distance as well as in relation to its own internal form and that of the other work in the show. Transforming and transcribing themselves in a multiplicity of changing and exchanging presences.
